The small boy proposed a hearty breakfast at the garden centre café, and everyone was game except for his older brother, who needed to stay home and study for a physics exam. I tossed the wee one's wellies into the car, and after breakfast and an extended browse (because garden centers in these parts have everything*), we headed to the nearby beach.
There were the usual treasures.
I sat here and watched the waves for a while.
It was a gorgeous spring day.
*The chefs found a cookbook and some cookie cutters they couldn't live without, and a(n unsuccessful) case was made for purchasing a hamster.
It's hard to know where to even begin with that post! I mean, first off, when you can put "garden center" and "cafe" together as one locale, I've already lost my mind with envy. Those photos! Those views!! *swoon*
ReplyDeleteperhaps a hamster cookie cutter as a compromise.....
ReplyDeleteWow, what a place to take a seat and watch the sea come rolling in, a fabulous view.
ReplyDeleteI hope the cookie cutters have their first use very soon!
